Tarzan Rough Animation

There are some amazing resources on the interweb for aspiring animators like myself. This clip of rough animation from Disney's Tarzan is fantastic, Glen Keane one of the Disney greats talks about how the animators worked out Tarzan's personality and body mechanics by using rough animation and animal reference. It's great hearing and seeing how these characters are brought to life and the thought and work that goes into them.

Of course recently Glen has directed and animated Duet which is absolutely stunning. I've watched it about 5 times already. Films and shots like this make me want to practice my drawing so I can create hand drawn animation like this. if not as a career then just for fun.
