Here's a little featurette I found for Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2. It shows some rough tests animations of the Foodimals and the narrator gives interesting insights on the inspiration and the reference that the animators used to bring the characters to life and make them move and act like real life animals. I always like seeing the rough, greyscale tests of recognisable characters as well. It's nice seeing that even the best films start off in the same place as I do.
